国际会议提交论文邀请函

Dear colleagues:

                First of all, please accept my late new year greetings. I wish all of you have a happy, healthy and successful 2008. I also want to express my great appreciation to you for your highly valuable contribution in 2007. Here are some updates of recent development and notes pertaining the evaluation and publication of PGM2007A:

                1. An official model, EGM08, is planned to be released by the NGA during the upcoming General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union, to be held in Vienna, Austria, 13-18 of April 2008.

                2. You are encouraged to present the results from PGM2007A's evaluation at the EGU08, provided your reports have been posted on our website before the end of Feb. 2008. Other restrictions remain. PGM2007A will 'disappear' once EGM08 becomes available.

                3. A session related to the EGM08 evaluation has been planned during the GGEO08 symposium that will take place 23-27 June, 2008, Crete, Greece (Session 6). You are encouraged to add your evaluation of EGM08 to your reports, and present your results during the session. In the case you cannot attend this symposium, you may think to submit an abstract and ask one of your colleagues to present it. I wish we can publish evaluation reports in the symposium proceedings as completely as possible. They are highly valuable for other colleagues and future reference. Only concern is page limit for the proceedings as Nikos suggested. If you have any better idea, please share with us.
